I’ve been on LinkedIn for 3 years now, and I keep seeing founders assuming that LinkedIn will just “print” revenue for them without the real work.
Posting → waiting → nothing.
The thing about LinkedIn as of today for my founders out there is that they do not pay you for reach. LinkedIn pays you for positioning. And positioning happens inside three very specific post formats that most of you aren’t using.
These are the exact post formats to focus on as a founder in 2026:

1. Share Your Social Proof on LinkedIn
I’m not talking about a screenshot of a testimonial.
I’m referring to an actual proof post that walks through what a client came to you with, what you changed, and what happened next.
Use very specific numbers, timeframe, and the exact mechanism used.
Here’s an example of what I mean: When [client type] came to me, they were doing [old thing] and getting [bad result]. We changed [one specific thing]. In [timeframe], they went from [X] to [Y].
Your buyers don’t need to be convinced you’re smart, just convinced you’ve done the exact thing that they are TRYING to do. Your proof post will lock that in.

2. Provide the Mechanism of Your Systems
This is where I can almost guarantee that you’re missing out on more revenue. You’re teaching the what but never the how you think about it.
Here’s my example structure:
Everyone thinks [common belief]. That's why [common outcome]. Here's what I actually do instead: [1, 2, 3]. The reason it works is [underlying principle].
Any buyer that comes to your post will walk away thinking, "I could try this myself, but I'd rather just hire the person who figured it out."
That’s how you’ll get FARRR more clients.

3. Promote Your Offers Often (Recommended)
Founders under-post their offer by roughly 10x. Your audience has the memory of a goldfish and a feed full of competitors.
Your offer posts should not just be “DM me.” Make it a clear description of WHO you help, WHAT you help them do, and HOW to start.
Writing like a human > not a landing page.
Save this template:
I help [specific person] do [specific outcome] using [specific method]. If you're [current situation] and want [future situation], here's how it works: [1-2 sentence description of the offer]. [Clear next step].
Post one of these every 7-10 days.
