A Day In The Life of a Content Master
Here's what a day in my life looks like:
read time 3 minutes.
Welcome to The Growth Innovator. Exclusive content where I showcase my systems to create content, write emails, and build products that sell in 2024.
Today’s Email:
Realistic Lifestyle
Entrepreneur “Myths”
My Bonus Advice
Alright, Let’s Innovate:
This post is different than my normal content. I don’t do stuff like this often, so I feel like it’s time (yes, there’s lots of advice in this post).
I’m simply human.
I get DMs all the time like: “You must be living THE dream!”.
No. I’m living MY dream.
But not everything is like what you see online.
Realistic Lifestyle:
5:00 AM: The beginning of a beautiful day.
Some days, I don’t want to get up.
On other days, I’m out of my bed in seconds.
5:30 AM: Coffee and chillaxing.
I use the next hour to enjoy a quiet morning.
No one is asking me for anything. I’m not needed anywhere. There are no tasks to get done yet. It’s just me and me only.
6:30 AM - 8:00 AM: My day online begins.
There are three things that I do at this time:
Engage on Socials (LinkedIn, X, IG, TikTok, & YT)
Scheduled Posts at 7:07 AM
Engage w/ Comments on Client Content
This time is spent engaging, sending DMs, & replying to clients.
8:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Creating lots of content.
I spend this time only creating content. I write around 50-60 posts per week for myself and my clients:
LinkedIn Posts
Newsletters
X Threads
Video Scripts
Landing Page Copy
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Daily exercise.
I go to the gym 5 times a week. If I’m not at the gym, I’m biking, hiking, or taking my dogs on a walk. Physical exercise keeps me focused and makes me feel like I’m at the top.
2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Optimizations.
I have new ideas all the time. I get feedback from my audience quite often. I use this time to improve my business, not my content:
Monetization Funnels
Landing Pages
Email Automation
The list goes on. There’s always more I can do to scale long-term.
4:00 - 7:00 PM: Create more content.
During this time, I usually write, film, and edit my video content. Video content is not easy to create and takes a good amount of time.
7:00 PM - 9:30 PM: Enjoy the day.
This is the time I usually hang out with my family for the remainder of the day. Dinner, games, movies, you name it. Don’t neglect the time that you have with your loved ones (you’ll regret it).
Some days I’m not following this exact schedule:
I travel a lot.
I have coaching/client calls.
I’ve got errands to run.
I do random sh*t.
This is how a typical day looks like for my 6-figure, 1-person business.
I don’t wake up in my $15M house.
I don’t drive a $500K sports car.
I don’t flex my possessions.
Entrepreneur Myths:
Below are my opinions on various topics. This is based on personal experience and what I’ve learned over the past 8 years:
Passive income doesn’t exist.
You don’t have to grind 24/7.
Mistakes are okay, just don’t make the same mistake twice.
Moderate tolerance of risk is the best risk.
It’s better to be simple than overcomplicated.
You don’t have to go viral to succeed.
The market isn’t saturated, your content just isn’t good.
If going on vacation hurts your business, you don’t run a good business.
I hope this helps.
My Bonus Advice:
Life is long, but most people waste the time they have.
If you’re running an online business in 2024, it can be overwhelming. There’s so much “stuff” on the internet now.
My advice? Live a little.
Do the stuff you want to do in life and don’t hold back.
I get on a plane and fly somewhere almost every other week. I don’t “vacation”, I “travel”. Big difference.
If your content isn’t performing well:
Very little engagement.
Few new connections.
No new customers or leads.
Close to zero new followers.
You’re in the right place. I’ve put together a step-by-step blueprint for starting, growing, and scaling a profitable online business while cutting your working hours in half.
You can pick up The Growth OS here. The cool part about my video course is that I’ll refund 100% of your investment if you don’t see results in the first 30 days.
See you in there.
