  • $1,000 Weekend Challenge

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday Tasks

  • How & Why it Works

  • TL;DR

Alright, Let’s Innovate:

Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen the $1,000 Weekly Challenge circulating around LinkedIn.

So, I decided to break down the challenge, how I’d accomplish it, and why it works.

For you to benefit from today’s post, here’s what you need:

  • The time to participate in the challenge.

  • Action mentality (put in the work).

  • Work quickly but efficiently.

This challenge isn’t about how quickly you can make money. It’s about leveraging your skills, the resources you already have, and the ability to create an excess amount of value for your audience.

Let’s get started.

Friday: Free/Paid Offers + Target Audience

When you begin working on Friday morning, here’s your first task:

Decide what you’re good at. This could be:

  • SEO

  • Fitness

  • Copywriting

  • Teaching

  • SMM

  • Dropshipping

The list goes on.

Once you’ve done this, your next task is to create a simple product that teaches your audience the expertise/skill that you have. Here are a few of my favorites:

  • Coaching Session

  • Social Media Audits

  • Mini-Course (Mini-Masterclass)

The goal is to deliver a high-value product that requires little preparation. The longer it takes, the harder this challenge becomes.

Coaching sessions are by far one of the easiest because you don’t need much preparation at all. A simple form sent to your client will help you prepare for your coaching session before the call begins.

Once you know which product to create, ask yourself this question?

“Who needs my offer this weekend?”

The more specific you are with your audience targeting, the easier it will be to sell your offer.

Saturday: Engagement + Outbound

Next up, Saturday.

The best way to make this challenge work is to hop on calls (a lot of them). You’ll need to deliver a high-quality pitch to your prospects to sell throughout the weekend.

Here’s what you’ll need throughout these calls:

  • Identify the exact problem you’re selling.

  • Showcase results clients can expect.

  • Explain why your offer is the best option.

  • Showcase results from previous customers.

  • Give a sense of why they should purchase on the call.

This shouldn’t be a long call. Be straightforward and to the point, and get your prospects on board.

For engagement, this is the fun part.

Organic leads are by far the best way to sell your product. With that being said, here’s what you need:

  1. 4x LinkedIn Posts (2x Saturday, 2x Sunday)

  2. 3x Posts on X (Twitter) & 2x Reels on Instagram

If you don’t have X or Instagram, focus primarily on LinkedIn.

Here’s the engagement process I’d use for the weekend:

  1. Send 100x Connection Requests

  2. Send 15-20 DMs / Day

  3. Add Your Posts to LinkedIn Groups

  4. Send an Email Newsletter

The more active you are on LinkedIn, the more prospects will come to you.

If you’re specific with your offering, you are solving a problem your target audience has, you’ll 100% see some DMs coming in.

Saturday: Sell + Closing

Starting Sunday morning, check your DMs, email inbox, and any groups you participated in.

Here’s what you’re looking for:

  • Questions about your systems.

  • Confusion about business strategies.

  • Looking for more information on your offer.

  • Any struggles in general.

These are the prospects you want to focus on helping first. If they have a problem for which you created a solution within your product/service, now’s the time to get them on a call. Be upfront about your offer so you don’t waste anyone's time.

Remember this: ask what they are looking for.

If you DON’T have any leads yet, try adjusting your outreach approach, content CTAs, and engagement process.

Once you land your first client, delivery is crucial. Remember this: always overdeliver and underpromise.

Here’s why:

  • Clients will be extra delighted when you over-deliver.

  • They’ll want to work with you long-term.

  • They are getting their money’s worth.

Why This Challenge Works

Many of you won’t successfully complete this challenge (that’s okay).

The point of this challenge is to make you work with what you have in a short period. It will also force you to be ultra-specific about your value proposition.

If you haven’t been able to step out of your comfort zone and begin taking calls, posting content, or doing anything else, now is the time to do so.

Take action.
Make mistakes.
Keep growing.

You got this.

  2. Create an engagement process and post organic content.

  3. Send DMs and connection requests, and complete your outbound.

Alex
